Summary of Job (brief description)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Soleno Therapeutics as a Project Manager at the Director level. The position will be responsible for providing project management expertise and offering support to our key cross functional programs involving Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial and CMC project teams, ensuring that program and project priorities are executed in accordance with Soleno’s corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain integrated project plan(s) to ensure completion of project objectives in a timely fashion and within budget.
  • For key meetings (e.g., project team, meetings with partners), prepare agendas, facilitate discussions, prepare minutes, track decisions and issues and action-items.
  • Focus on follow-up on action items to ensure timely resolution.
  • Compile, track and maintain status reports of program progress and present to key internal stakeholders.
  • Support Finance in developing program budgets and tracking actuals to forecast. Proactively identify areas where there are significant deviations and where resource savings could be realized.
  • Review critical documents to ensure they are in line with program and project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources and CMO/CRO, vendors/suppliers for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline; a higher degree preferred.
  • 10 + years of experience in pharmaceutical project management, including late-state Clinical, Regulatory and CMC development through commercialization stages.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred but not required.
  • Must thrive working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong conflict management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, with the flexibility and adaptability to re-prioritize workload to meet changing timelines.

Salary Range: $220,000 - $250,000

What You Bring to the Table
  • The ability to work weekends and overtime on an as-needed basis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize HCSS Heavy Job Field Management Software.
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Your Prior Experience
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of Construction Administration or related experience, preferably in the construction utility industry.

With proven capabilities across the renewable energy value chain. 174 Power Global is expanding into energy campuses to support load growth for data centers and clean hydrogen, leveraging internal knowledge and expertise, the company will secure and enable clean/renewable powered sites for power generation, for the grid, data centers, clean hydrogen production and its derivatives.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Project Execution is a critical leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and successful delivery of large capital Hydrogen and power projects. This role demands a strategic leader capable of guiding multi-disciplinary teams through the complexities of large-scale energy projects, from initial planning to successful execution and completion. The Director of Project Execution ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. By managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing financial and contract management, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards, the Director plays a critical role in maintaining the company's reputation for excellence in the renewable energy sector. This position reports to the Vice President of Hydrogen or another management personnel that the CEO head may designate. This position is expected to travel up to 30%. This position will be located in Irvine, CA or Houston, Texas.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of hydrogen and energy projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Management of 3rd party engineering services, including Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC.
  • Manage project milestones and critical paths, applying rigorous project controls and reporting mechanisms.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met and to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues
  • Champion the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance across all projects.
  • Implement and oversee safety management systems, quality management systems, and environmental management systems, ensuring projects comply with all regulatory and company standards.
  • Prepare and present presentations to Senior Management as requested.
  • Work with different internal teams to negotiate contract terms (project finance, engineering, project management, procurement and legal)
  • All other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
  • Regular attendance, in accordance with the company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive track record of successfully building large-scale projects in the energy industry.
  • Working technical knowledge of hydrogen production technologies
  • Existing experience with suppliers, consumers, and potential partners in the energy space.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a technical or business Master's degree.
  • Project Management Certification
  • 10 + years of technical experience in related energy markets.
  • Entrepreneurial minded and strong self-starter approach to work requiring minimal supervision.
  • The ability to quickly work on new tasks and accommodate changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant tools
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player with a high degree of professionalism in which one always conducts self.

$180,000 - $225,000 Salary

Job Requirements

We are seeking a driven and tech-savvy fresh graduates to join our dynamic team to work along with our customer. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the engineering field while contributing to impactful projects. The engineer will support various tasks like scheduling, monitoring & control, coordinating with relevant stake holders managing the projects, with a focus on achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing projects effectively to meet financial and commercial aspects
  • Develop project plans as vital to successfully complete the project
  • Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders
  • Identify and prioritize the tasks assessing the volume of work
  • Initiate the project through required formalities and internal/external kickoff meetings
  • Creating long and short-term project plans and setting targets for milestones
  • Prepare commercial information for regular project reporting/project status discussions/milestone reviews (deadlines, costs, quality, cash collection).
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and management to develop relationships that are conducive to the successful completion of the project
  • Conduct Lessons Learned meetings for all projects; identify corrective actions and best practices and solicit a Customer Satisfaction Survey as part of the contract closure process
  • Support preparing budgets and forecast for projects (e.g. Order Entry, Revenue, Gross Margin).
  • Establish a contact plan and governance rhythm
  • Ability to analyze information and provide reports and feedback to project team members and management.
  • Assess Risks and come up with a mitigation plan

Work Experience

  • Exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • MS Project Experience is a plus
  • Experience in JIRA, Mendix ,Python programming is a plus
