Summary
Rechtien International Trucks is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reporting Analyst to join our team at a leading truck dealership. This role is responsible for supporting the preparation, analysis, and delivery of accurate financial reports to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, the Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the preparation, review, and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual company-wide reports.
Duties
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and prepare reports on key financial metrics, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Identify and explain variances between actual and forecasted financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and financial projections.
- Gather, analyze, and report on financial data to aid in business planning and decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models that support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.
Education & Prior Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, with specialization in Finance, Accounting, or a similar quantitative focus.
- 4–8 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the automotive or dealership industry.
- Experience with data visualization tools a plus (Power BI, etc.).
- Bilingual; English and Spanish.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling).
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems. “Procede” experience a plus
- Certifications such as CPA or equivalent, preferred
- Ability to organize and manipulate large data sets from diverse systems and sources.
- High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Work Setting
- In-Person/On-Site: Monday through Friday

Job Description
Position Summary:
A core member of the C2 GPS’ Operations Team, The Reporting Analyst designs, develops, and tests database queries and analyzes reports. The RA creates extensive reports, visualizes data, and provides insights and recommendations in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner. The RA provides subject matter expertise on all relevant data sources and reporting content.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for developing systems, processes and procedures, as needed, for data capture and tracking.
- Recommends and implements new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.
- Automates data extraction, transfer, and data mining from various system and sources.
- Transfers data into meaningful, professional, and easy to understand formats and visualizes data for diverse audiences.
- Transforms data into a comprehensive understanding of customer behaviors and feedback for service improvement opportunities.
- Manages reporting and analysis elements on all business initiative projects.
- Troubleshoots barriers to obtain meaningful reporting and coordinates resolutions to obtain relevant data to measure performance of key initiatives.
- Analyzes operational data, builds models, and surfaces actionable insights to drive key decisions for Operations Leadership.
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management/Analytics, Statistics, or related field preferred.
- Experience interpreting data and making recommendations to senior management.
- Experience with Python and/or R; deep experience with excel.
- Experience creating operational dashboards in Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with SQL a plus.
- Experience with SharePoint a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance with good driving record.
