ORE is looking for a Business Development Sales Manager to join our team. This is a dynamic position that combines the art of sales with the discipline of project management. You'll be responsible for the full sales life cycle, from prospecting and relationship-building to pre-booking project coordination and providing solution-based selling for ORE's products.
The Business Development Sales Manager develops relationships with our top-tier client base while providing consistent and exceptional customer support. In this role you will be traveling as needed (~25%) to an assigned territory to represent ORE, and to present ORE products and solutions to architects, landscape architects, general contractors, installers and others. Candidates must have a minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience selling to similar clients.
The Business Development Sales Manager will work with all clients (internal customers and external) through the Bid-Build/Design Build process until the deal is won. After booking our clients projects, this position will work closely with an ORE project manager to hand off critical project details while maintaining awareness of the clients project throughout the design & fabrication process.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must have a minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in roles similar to commercial construction working with architects, landscape architects, general contractors, and installers.
- Experience must include working within a proposal generation, bid-build/design build and/or construction environment with preference given to those with Landscape Architecture experience.
- Must have command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and familiarity with Adobe. Preference given to those with CRM/ERP experience such as NetSuite.
- Must be a Team player. ORE is very much a team environment, and this person must be able to thrive in a cross functional team organization and add value. Demonstrated experience performing in a cross-functional weak-matrix is a must.

You won't just be selling products — you'll be helping shape our future product lines, collaborating with production and marketing, and playing a key role in our company's next stage of growth.

What You'll DoLead and grow sales opportunities through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
Build trust with customers by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings to strengthen sales strategies.
Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and forecasts.
Document all sales activities in CRM for clear tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with marketing on promotions, campaigns, and customer outreach.
Partner with production, customer service, and shipping to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Represent Tusk Molding at trade shows and customer site visits (about 30% travel).
3–5 years of sales or business development experience (manufacturing or B2B sales a plus).
Strong communication skills — able to explain technical products clearly.
Proven ability to hit and exceed sales goals.
Skilled at building lasting customer relationships.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (NetSuite a plus).
