Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Luverne, AL. The role is full-time, onsite, and runs from August 5, 2025, through May 22, 2026, covering two school sites. This contract position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (including Clinical Fellows) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants with a focus on pediatric healthcare and school environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in the state of Alabama
- Open to Clinical Fellows and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and other school staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students from PreK through 12th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student support
