The UX Design Manager supports the operations, processes, and tools within the Customer Experience Strategy & Design organization. The role focuses on enhancing design workflows, managing tools such as Figma, UserTesting, and Azure DevOps, and coordinating process implementation with design and development teams.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a connector across CXSD and partner teams to align stakeholders and improve operational processes.
- Manage initial work requests for design workstreams, including scope clarification and planning support.
- Monitor workstreams, identify risks, escalate issues, and ensure proper organization of design and development files.
- Support the integration of design tools with front-end development environments and ensure assets are implementation-ready.
- Document and track design and front-end work items in Azure DevOps and maintain resource forecasts.
- Serve as the internal owner of design and research tools, managing access, troubleshooting, and configurational standards.
- Maintain documentation standards and organize key knowledge assets such as personas, journey maps, and templates.
- Experience coordinating design, development, and product teams around workflows and processes.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, UserTesting, and platforms like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Storybook.
- Ability to manage SaaS tools and platforms within a digital experience, marketing, or customer experience environment.
- Strong communication skills for documentation and stakeholder guidance.

· Define overall control system architecture and requirements for new products.
· Write code / develop controls programs for a variety of platforms and applications.
· Design, development, and integration of electrical control systems products using knowledge of current technology to deliver innovative design solutions for best-in-class electrical controls.
· Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and software to meet required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. This includes new products, product line extensions, incremental updates, and maintenance releases.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Service, and Commercial teams.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:· Experience with electrical controls systems design, development, and integration into industrial applications.
· Experience with Rockwell Automation PLCs and PLC programming or similar platform.
· Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering or related field and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience in ERP/MRP Systems. Ability to learn new software platforms and architectures.
· Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in engineering.
· Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
· Familiarity with principles of industrial equipment such as reciprocating compressors, engines, fluid handling/hydraulic systems, and related machinery.
· Working knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints and drawings.
· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry, and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
· Ability to speak confidently and effectively before groups of customers or employees.
· Strong communication skills at all levels with customers and company colleagues.

As a Senior UX Design Manager on the FCSD Tech team, you will set UX direction and lead several design teams. Position Overview:
CESI is seeking motivated software development candidates to lead agile development projects across modern full-stack software applications. The candidate will lead one or more software development projects and provide technical recommendations to Agile scrum teams in the development and integration of advanced software capabilities into fully functional production applications to support cyber training capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.
Responsibilities:
- Work through agile-based software lifecycle development that includes requirements analysis, design, & implementation.
- Recommend solutions and corrective actions to technical applications and software issues.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to less-experienced engineering staff.
- Apply software engineering standards and assist engineering teams in software system or subsystem development and documentation efforts.
- Understands and adheres to project schedules and stays within technical standards and design principles.
- Efficiently diagnose and debug front-end and back-end software issues.
- Clearly and effectively communicate problems and solutions with the team and external stakeholders, both verbally and electronically.
- Plans, conducts, directs and evaluates software projects across an agile development cycle.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.
- 2+ years of software engineering and design experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming expertise – this position requires active day-to-day software development
- Strong expertise with JavaScript, Java Spring Boot, React, Angular and other related libraries desired
- Experience in Linux shell scripting
- Experience in cloud-based infrastructures and environments
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
Knowledge in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:
- Experience within the commercial software development and deployment workforce
- Experience with containerization of applications
- Experience in Kubernetes and container orchestration
Experience with back-end development, including , web servers (Nginx, Apache, etc.), database servers, etc.
Secure web-based development
- Agile development process and planning tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge Git repositories and DevOps principles
- Strong technical grasp of database design
- Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) would be considered a plus
