AbbVie Cork is a dynamic Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) site, producing a diverse portfolio of innovative technologies and products.
We are currently sourcing aSupply Chain Manager to join our site leadership team, reporting to our Site Head. The Supply Chain Manager leads all supply chain and warehouse activities related to supply of current products and new product launches.
This includes coaching and mentorship of an experienced and skilled team across Demand Management and Supply Levelling, Master Scheduling, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), and Warehouse/Storage management.

- Ensure the development and delivery of the Supply Chain organizational vision and strategic objectives.

- Ensure that the internal rolling forecast file, which is used to track inventory, production schedule adherence, production batch status and shipment schedule adherence is maintained.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement Projects in the Supply Chain and WH Areas.
- Work with the quality system ensuring that the site quality policy and GMP and GDP is fully complied with on a continuous basis.
- Ensure Known consignor certification is maintained
- Contribute to the development of the Global Supply Chain Function, i.e. become an active participant of the global team.
- Champion and lead Culture & Engagement and EEDI initiatives in Supply Chain function and across the site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or science with 5 years plus experience in supply chain management.
- 5 year + People Management with demonstrated ability to develop key talent and to set clear vision and strategy for your team
- OPEX Black / Green belt certifiedpreferably
- Experience in engaging, collaborating, and influencing at senior leadership level
- Ability to think outside the box and provide solutions through structured trouble shooting methodologies

POSITION SUMMARY
The individual in this role will support the Inbound Supervisor by assisting in coordinating, training, and participating in activities related to verifying, receiving goods, record-keeping, replenishment, and put-away operations. They will actively contribute to meeting the daily business needs and targets of inbound shipments. Additionally, they will play an active role in all aspects of the receiving operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze receiving notices, packing slips, and other records to determine priorities, work assignments, and the necessary receiving methods to meet schedules.
- Assist in the planning, organizing, participation, and monitoring of receiving, storage, and distribution processes for all received items.
- Monitor the unloading of materials into the Receiving area.
- Provide training, work direction, and coordination of assigned personnel, including training associates on unloading, receiving, and movement of materials from the inbound dock to the staging area.
- Maintain records of unfilled received shipments.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies with accounting related to invoices, packing slips, and receiver prepared reports.
- Collaborate or correspond with management to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Communicate with carrier representatives to make arrangements or issue instructions for the delivery of materials.

Drive transformation : Partner with our customers to unlock their supply chain-wide transformation needs and work out how you can help drive growth, reduce costs, and spark innovation.
Analyze and optimize : Dive into current business processes within supply chains and operations across diverse industries like life sciences, food & beverages, and manufacturing. Your analytical skills will streamline and enhance operations.
Facilitate workshops : Organize and facilitate client workshops to uncover their unique needs and supply chain challenges. Your collaborative approach ensures we understand their goals and obstacles clearly.
Strategize with clarity : Gather essential information with a keen focus on what matters. You’ll keep all stakeholders informed and aligned, avoiding unnecessary details.
Co-create solutions : Collaborate with clients to design the concept book, detailing innovative new processes and organizational changes. Together, we’ll create a blueprint for success.
Coordinate implementation : Support the entire process, ensuring a smooth and structured transition to the new working method.

About you
Must-Have Experience
2+ years of experience in supply chain planning or transformation , either in an internal role (e.g., Demand Planner, Supply Planner, S&OP Analyst, Inventory Analyst) or as a consultant (e.g., Junior Supply Chain Consultant, Supply Chain Consultant, Supply Chain Analyst).
A strong understanding of planning processes , supply chain KPIs, and improvement opportunities in the E2E planning space.
Experience working with ERP systems and exposure to digital planning tools like OMP, Anaplan, Kinaxis, SAP, etc.
Hands-on experience analyzing planning data and identifying process gaps or improvement opportunities.
Involvement in a planning system implementation or process improvement initiative is a plus .
Consulting Readiness
You’ve built a solid foundation in supply chain planning —either from within an organization (as a planner or analyst) or as a consultant or business analyst supporting planning projects at a consulting firm.
You understand how planning decisions ripple across the value chain and are ready to help clients improve visibility, alignment, and performance.
You’re excited to move beyond execution—ready to design, lead, and implement solutions that drive meaningful change.
You’re naturally curious and ask the right questions to get to the root of problems, not just the symptoms.
You’re comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments , where clear answers aren’t always available.
You can structure complex information , communicate it clearly, and adapt your message to different audiences—whether it’s a planner, a project sponsor, or a C-suite executive.
You’re energized by collaboration and build trust quickly with stakeholders.
Some hard skills
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics, or Data Science. A Master’s Degree or an MBA is a plus.
You are fluent in English, our official work language in all of our offices. Any other language mastery is a definite plus
