· Continued development of global freight forwarding strategy for high volume supply programs throughout the US and overseas, managing agreements that are compliant with US Flag, International Trade Compliance and other relevant regulations.
· Ensure cost-effective strategies are implemented, ensuring budgets are adhered to while achieving high service standards. Regular financial performance assessments will guide strategy adjustments to maintain fiscal discipline.
· Ensure all operations comply with internal policies and industry regulations. This position will monitor suppliers, implement strategies to manage supply chain risks and mitigate disruptions. Ensure all processes adhere to legal, environmental, and safety standards. Ensure purchasing adheres to existing policies including spending limitations and banned telecommunications equipment (889 List). Develop contingency plans for operational disruptions.

Salary: $125,000–$50,000 annually, based on experience
Bonus: Eligible for a 15,000 annual bonus
Position Summary
The Director of Supply Chain Management will lead the strategic and operational oversight of the supply chain across all entities within our Managed Service Organization (MSO). This role is responsible for optimizing procurement, logistics, inventory control, and vendor relationships to support clinical and administrative operations across a diverse network of healthcare providers and facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a systems-thinking approach to ensure cost-efficiency, regulatory compliance, and service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership
- Develop and implement a unified supply chain strategy across all MSO-supported entities.
- Align supply chain operations with organizational goals, clinical needs, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain performance and reduce operational costs.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Oversee centralized and decentralized procurement processes for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and administrative goods.
- Establish and manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Evaluate supplier performance and lead vendor selection and onboarding processes.
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of supplies to clinical sites.
- Ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods across all supported practices and facilities.
- Implement logistics KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and optimization across multiple locations.
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Minimize waste and stockouts while maintaining service readiness.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA, DEA) and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission).
Technology & Data Analytics
- Leverage EMR & supply chain management systems to enhance visibility and decision-making.
- Use data analytics to drive performance improvements and cost savings.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain function
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership, preferably in healthcare or a regulated service environment.
- Experience working within or supporting a Managed Service Organization or multi-entity healthcare system.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of healthcare supply chain dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
- Ability to manage complexity across multiple stakeholders and locations.
- Familiarity with healthcare procurement platforms (e.g., GHX, McKesson, Cardinal Health) preferred
- Experience integrating supply chain operations during mergers, acquisitions, or practice consolidations preferred
