As the Strategic Planning & Performance Director (Revenue) , you will act as the strategic and executional right hand to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) , driving cross-functional alignment, operational efficiency, and performance visibility across all revenue-generating functions. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution & Planning

2. Revenue Process Optimization

Drive continuous improvement in pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and sales productivity.
3. Performance Management & Insights
Establish and track KPIs to assess the health of revenue streams.
Lead the cadence of operational meetings: pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and QBRs.
Identify bottlenecks and work with teams to drive resolution.
4. Cross-Functional Enablement
Facilitate strong collaboration between revenue teams and supporting functions (RevOps, Finance, HR, Product, Legal).
Ensure seamless communication, accountability, and delivery on shared objectives.
Act as a liaison to ensure CRO priorities are translated into departmental actions.
5. Special Projects & Change Management
Lead or support high-impact projects (e.g., go-to-market transformations, incentive plan design, tool implementation).
Support M&A integration activities, international expansion, or new product launches from a revenue lens.
Key Qualifications:
Experienced to work on a strategic level in revenue operations, business operations and business transformation.
Proven experience working alongside senior commercial leadership.
Strong analytical skills with comfort in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
Deep understanding of sales processes, SaaS metrics, and go-to-market motions.
Experience with CRM (Salesforce), BI tools, and planning software is required.
Able and willing to travel internationally.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Director of Strategic Planning is responsible for leading IndyGo’s Strategic Planning Department under the direction of the Chief Development Officer. The Director of Strategic Planning provides leadership and strategic direction to guide long-term planning and development of the agency’s services, infrastructure and organizational priorities. This role is responsible for aligning strategic initiatives with the agency’s mission, goals, and values. They will lead staff, research and develop policies and programs, execute key initiatives, and provide direction on IndyGo’s strategic plan goals and objectives. This position is responsible for coordinating and communicating with staff at all levels, and across the entire agency, and must do so in such a way that supports the cross-functional nature of this Division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, an individual must be able to perform the below functions:
- Proven ability to direct the Strategic Planning team ensuring alignment with agency goals and priorities
- Research, develop, maintain, and report on the agency’s Strategic Plan
- Research, develop, maintain, and report on the agency’s 5-yr Capital Plan
- Perform quantitative and geospatial analyses to support IndyGo operations, planning, project development, and project delivery
- Research, develop, monitor, and report on the department’s key performance indicators
- Track agency expenses against the operating and capital budgets
- Monitor for risks and assist in identifying and deploying risk mitigation strategies
- Help ensure compliance with contract requirements, Federal Transit Administration regulations, and best business practices
- Identify emerging trends or ideas in transportation, assessing potential applications within agency operations
- Support other departments or divisions in preparing documentation for agency compliance, including coordination with Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Federal Transit Administration, and other regulatory agencies
- Coordinate major planning efforts such as comprehensive operational analyses, policy reviews, and individual assessments of agency-level plans and initiatives
- Develop and present information to the Board of Directors, including reports, policy recommendations and other documents
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Oversee or support the development of grant proposals and funding strategies aligned with long-term goals and strategic initiatives
- Represent the agency in regional planning efforts, working groups, and partnerships with local, regional and state entities
- Help coordinate stakeholder engagement with neighborhood groups and major institutions proximate to planned and prospective capital projects
- Assist with agency-wide training programs aimed at maintaining or increasing IndyGo’s project management and contract management capabilities
- Recommend the use of external consultants for planning studies and projects, per IndyGo’s procurement policies and practices
- Attend and participate in board meetings
- Assist in coaching and developing staff and building greater leadership capacity

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
- An accredited degree in planning, public administration, transportation planning, public policy, or closely related field is required.
- A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, transportation planning or public-sector policy development.
- A minimum of three years of experience managing and mentoring staff, or an equivalent supervisory/leadership role is required
- Experience in a transit agency, metropolitan planning organization or related public-sector or consulting environment is preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $119,000 to $176,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Qualifications:

Responsible for analysis and coordination of the Michigan C.O.N. approval process of capital construction budgets for the DMC System. Prepares semi-annual project progress reports to Michigan Department of Community Health as required. Acts as Chief contact and Liaison representative for providing all CON related information, responds to questions and requests by Michigan Department of Community Health.
Determines CON approval strategy and prepares all DMC applications and related documents. Supports Market Managers, Senior Management and individuals requesting hospitals and departments for CON assistance and strategic information needs. Coordinates and develops the DMC Strategic Plan and related financial forecasts, develops and reviews a continuing program for long-range strategic planning, establishes a chronological time-table for the planning cycle, formulates assumptions, company targets and identifies goals and objectives of the DMC.
Represents the Detroit Medical Center in dealings with the Michigan Department of Community Health to further good public and community relations. Facilitates increases in federal funding for the DMC. Matches institutional needs with federal opportunities and performs follow-up activities. Monitors a variety of federal funding web-sites on a daily basis and interfaces with the DMC federal lobbyists in the development of federal funding strategies for DMC facilities.
Identifies/selects/interfaces with grant writing firms in the preparation and submission of proposals for funding, and interfaces with the institutional leadership to ensure all time deadlines and criterion are met for grant submission. Regularly reports on DMC grant successes in obtaining discretionary federal funds. Monitors activities for and ensures compliance with laws, government regulations, JCAHO requirements and DMC policies. As directed, implements external and internal audit recommendations. Ensures hospital departments achieve objectives for diversity of their suppliers.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Masters Degree preferred.
2. Five or more years of progressively more responsible experience in a finance or accounting environment.
