Job Summary: Voda Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operational Manager to lead our Carpet Cleaning and Water Restoration teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water restoration, carpet cleaning, and team management, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, as the manager will also need to step into the field to assist with carpet cleaning jobs when necessary, providing top-tier customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the carpet cleaning and water restoration departments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
- Manage and schedule teams for efficient execution of water restoration, carpet cleaning, and related services.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to IICRC standards and company protocols.
- Perform field work as necessary, assisting teams with carpet cleaning and restoration jobs to maintain quality, provide leadership, and ensure smooth operations.
- Train and mentor team members on techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use, ensuring they stay up-to-date with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety policies, and maintain proper documentation of safety protocols and training.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Work with upper management to set and achieve operational goals, drive revenue growth, and monitor key performance indicators.
- Assist in developing and implementing new procedures to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
- Maintain and track inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring all resources are readily available and maintained in good working order.
- Oversee reporting and documentation for all restoration and cleaning projects, including work orders, client records, and billing information.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Certifications: IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) with specialties in WRT (Water Restoration Technician), CCT (Carpet Cleaning Technician), and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician).
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in water restoration and carpet cleaning operations.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership roles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, handling multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in using project management/estimating software, such as Xactimate, CRM systems, and scheduling tools.

Golden Touch Restoration Specialist is looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our dynamic team. We provide critical restoration services to homeowners after disasters like fires and burst pipes. This is a unique, hands-on role where your technical skills meet your sales talent. You will be the face of our company, on the front lines, helping customers when they need it most and guiding them toward a solution.
We offer a competitive base salary plus a generous commission for every fire damage job you sign, rewarding you directly for your success.
Key Responsibilities:
Emergency Response & Technical Work:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for fire, smoke, and water damage on both day and night shifts.
- Perform on-site damage assessments and execute restoration tasks including water extraction, board-up, tarping, and initial cleanup.
- Operate and maintain professional restoration equipment (e.g., air movers, dehumidifiers).
- Manage the job site from start to finish, ensuring high-quality work and client satisfaction.
- Adhere to all industry safety standards and protocols.
Sales & Client Management:
- Meet with homeowners at the scene of a loss, provide a clear and empathetic assessment, and secure their commitment to use Golden Touch Restoration Specialist.
- Build immediate trust and rapport with clients during emotionally difficult times.
- Document the loss thoroughly with photos, notes, and detailed scoping.
- Communicate effectively with insurance representatives and the insured throughout the process.
- Generate new business opportunities through excellent service and networking.
What We're Looking For (Requirements):
- Proven experience in fire and/or water damage restoration.
- A natural "people person" with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
- Willingness to work a variable schedule, including on-call rotations for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills to manage job sites, document losses, and communicate clearly.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications (A Plus, But Not Required):
- IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification.
- IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification.
- Formal sales or customer service experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Earnings: Competitive hourly rate of $23 - $30 per hour , based on experience.
- Commission: Uncapped commission structure for every signed fire damage job.
- Schedule: Flexible availability with day and night shifts.
- On-Call Pay: Additional compensation for on-call emergency response rotations.
