SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Manager of Clinic Operations, the supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the clinic coordinators  and department leads  at all agency health center sites and assist the Manager of Clinic Operation and Director of Clinic Operations  in the management of the Agency’s operations to include Medical Reception, Call Center, Optometry, Dental, Radiology, Ultrasound, Health Information Management and Mammogram Department.  Monitors operating procedures and ensures agency policies and procedures are followed. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In conjunction with the Manager of Clinic Operations, the Supervisor of Clinic Operations is responsible for the supervision of the Clinic Coordinator, medical receptionists, Call Center Medical Receptionist, and other department support staff.
• Responsible for overseeing Medical Reception staff shift schedule and completion of Medical Reception Saturday shift rotations.   
• Responsible for assisting in ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the clinic, managing appointment scheduling, and optimizing utilization of resources.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum two (2) years of experience in the healthcare field to include supervisory leadership experience preferred.
2. Associate degree with three (3) years' experience in the healthcare field to include supervisory leadership experience.
3. Bilingual English/Spanish.
4. Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
5. Ability to work with the Agency’s Practice Management System and Electronic Health Records (EHR).  
6. Current California driver license, current California automobile insurance and access to an automobile.

Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Location: Long Beach, CA
Salary: $78 – $98K annually (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily activities across material handling, repackaging, and warehouse office operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving productivity, ensuring safety and compliance, and optimizing warehouse processes and space utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the work of warehouse office staff, material handlers, and assemblers.
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of daily warehouse activities.
• Plan, organize, and manage the receipt, classification, and storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Implement inventory control procedures and track material movement.
• Identify space and resource needs and align them with distribution schedules.
• Set team goals and monitor performance. Address issues through counseling, training, and skill development.
• Perform timekeeping, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.
• Maintain accurate training and compliance records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or a related field required.

Experience:

• 8+ years of relevant warehouse or logistics leadership experience required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment strongly preferred.
• Strong warehouse receiving experience
• A solid understanding of inbound warehousing operations
• Availability to work Saturdays and 10-hour days
• Experience supervising teams of 15–20 associates

Skills & Abilities

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse databases.
• Experience using AutoCAD is a plus.
• Ability to resolve complex or sensitive issues with professionalism.
• Skilled in applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., PDCA).
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in warehouse environments that may range from hot (up to 100°ree;F) to cold (down to 45°ree;F).
• Exposure to dust, moderate noise levels, and moving machinery.
• Steel-toe shoes and safety vest required.
• • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and use of hands.

Additional Information

• This is a contract to direct-hire opportunity with long-term potential based on performance and fit.

This position is Onsite. Our office is located at California Hospital Medical Center, 1401 S Grand Ave Los Angeles, CA 90015.

This position is full time (8 hours / week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work with rotating on call weekend work.

We offer 8 weeks of on - the - job training. The hours of training will be Monday Friday, 09:00 am - 05:00 pm.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for emergency department registration staff 
• Have a working knowledge of computer applications
• Demonstrate, leadership and analytical thinking capability
• Requires working knowledge of insurance including Commercial Contracts, Managed Care, and Government Programs including Federal, State, and local agencies
• Have knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Organizes workflow to ensure accurate and timely team performance
• Supervises the work schedule, always ensuring adequate and appropriate coverage of all positions
• Selects, and delegates training and orientation of new staff
• Assigns staff responsibilities and evaluates performance
• Counsels' employees on problem areas of registration and performance

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• 2+ years of experience working in a hospital patient registration department or physician office setting
• 1 + years of supervisor / management or team lead experience in healthcare
• Experience verifying patient insurance 
• Working knowledge of medical benefits & medical terminology
• Ability to work full time onsite in the emergency department at California Hospital Medical Center, 1401 S Grand Ave Los Angeles, CA 90015
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 07:00AM - 04:00PM, with rotating on call weekend work 
• Ability to train for the first 8 weeks between Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
