Job Description
Summary
Three Little Bears Day Care, LLC is a new daycare that opened end of summer. We are excited to welcome children from our community to a loving, nurturing and educational environment.
Head Teacher will work closely with Center Owner/Director.
Duties
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Supervise children at all times for their safety and the safety of others.
- Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
- Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Use Center app (will train) to communicate with parents and share child's work.
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain aclean and organized classroom.
- Hold team meetings for planning and reflection.
- Stock the classroom with supplies as needed.
- Keep toys, mats appropriately sanitized, according to CDC and state licensing regulations.
- Attend required meetings, as scheduled
- Participate in extracurricular activities such as Open House, Parents Evening/weekend Events, etc.
- Attend professional development as required.
Requirements
A current center-based Child Development Associate Credential issued from the Council for Professional Recognition OR
- Twelve (12) credits in early childhood education or child development from a regionally accredited higher education institution
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. (will help certify if don't have)
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Enjoy working with children

Position: Lead HVAC Installer
Pay Range: $5.75- 45.75 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Enjoy a consistent work-life balance with regular hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some overtime may be needed depending on the season.

Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ductwork
- Ensure all installations meet code requirements and company standards
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation following installation
- Provide exceptional customer service during each interaction
- Complete necessary paperwork and logs for each installation
- Maintain and operate service vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Keep up to date with industry standards and advancements
- Train apprentices in HVAC systems
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in residential HVAC service
- Willingness to travel within the service area
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance
- EPA Universal Certification
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and comply with safety rules
- Capability to handle system start-up and adjustments independently
Desired Qualifications
- NATE Core Certification: If you do not have your NATE Certification, we offer reimbursement for those who obtain their certification
- State of Connecticut D or S License
